Meet the Artist

I’m Leslie Parrott, a Nashville-based artist creating custom acrylic paintings for residential and commercial spaces. After more than 17 years as a professional photographer, I returned to my roots in drawing and painting, rediscovering the joy of building a painting by hand.

With a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and additional studies at RISD and Carnegie Mellon, I bring a strong foundation in composition, color, and light to my impressionist-inspired work. Painting allows me to move beyond documentation and interpret the world through expressive brushwork, layered textures, and patterns. I’m drawn to the shapes, colors, and rhythms of nature, which inform my botanical paintings and large-scale abstract artworks.

Whether creating a personal, one-of-a-kind piece or artwork for a commercial space, my goal is to capture the character and beauty of my subjects while offering a fresh perspective through color, texture, and form.
