Lots of patience plus coordination with the hotel management and staff can allow for empty lobby photos even at peak hours! Ideally I am able to photograph high traffic areas at off hours - if I’m shooting for the hotel, I schedule these shots
How do I take empty lobby photos when it’s super busy? This is @westinnewyorktimessquare (#beforecovid19 ) so you can only imagine the foot traffic in and out. There was also a VIP guest that arrived that morning - which requires extra privacy
